My Friend!

A friend is someone you like very much. Friends do not hurt each other or be mean to each other. They are kind to each other.  I let my friends join in my games and I share my toys with them. When my friends are sad I ask them if you want to play with me. Friends take turns and play fair. I take turns with my friends when we play racing and playing with the ball. I play fair when someone has no one to play with and when we play cards. My friends say nice things about me.If my friends accidentally hurt me they have to say sorry. Once Deijahn played with her other friends I was upset. So I went to play with my other friends. Daijahn and I still love each other because Deijhan didn't mean to hurt my feelings we are still friends.

My Birthday

In the holidays I celebrated my birthday.  I turned eight years old.  First I went to McDonalds at Sylvia Park shopping mall with my auntie Nita and my cousin Paula.  When we got to McDonalds we played shopping and tag.  Then we ate our McDonalds food.

Next we went shopping.  We bought clothes and shoes for me.  They were my birthday presents.  I bought a pair of long blue jeans with glitter on them and a pair of blue shoes with glitter.  They matched each other because the shoes and jeans were both blue and had glitter on them. 

After we had finished shopping we went back home and ate my birthday cake.  It was chocolate and it tasted yummy.  My cousins from Christchurch joined us to eat my birthday cake. Their names are baby Bya, baby Paula, Sione and Seta.

It was my best birthday cake ever and I liked having my cousins with me.  I had a great birthday.

Moving House

Making Home-made Ice-Cream

Room 1 and Room 2 made vanilla ice-cream in Room 2 after morning tea because we are learning how to turn liquid into a solid.  First we put evaporated milk into a bowl and whipped it for 40 seconds each.  Then we added sugar and vanilla and beat it again.  It looked creamy, thick and fluffy.  Then we put it in the freezer to set.  Finally we ate it and it tasted delicious.  I am excited because I now know how to make homemade ice-cream.

On Friday I went to the park with my family.  First we went to buy some takeaways, and then we went to the park and ate our food. I bought chicken and chips. After we had eaten our takeaways we played. I played on a spinning thing with my sisters and my cousins. The spinning thing was fun because I got dizzy and I could have fallen off. Next I played at rock climbing. Whoever got to the top of the tall rock got a treat. I got a treat. The treat was a purple primo. It was cool. I would like to go to the park again.

Grandmas birthday

Grandma's Birthday

In the holidays I went to the happy day eating place with my family to celebrate my Grandma’s birthday. I ate chips and ice cream. I also had a piece of birthday cake. It was a chocolate cake and it had writing on it. It said happy birthday Lupe Lahi. After that I played with my friends and my cousins. We played tag around the
happy day eating place.

Then we went to my dad’s family’s house in my dad’s van. Grandma came with us. We all said,
“Happy birthday Grandma”. 
I was wearing a black and white dress, and white shoes.  Next we ate vegetables and chocolate ice cream.  It was special, for my Grandma’s birthday. Later Grandma got a birthday card from my auntie.

After that we went back home and had a sleep because it was school the next morning. I had a good day on my Grandma’s birthday.
